Founded in 1980 on the Quaker principles of equality, community, simplicity, peace, stewardship and integrity, part of our uniqueness comes from celebrating diversity and welcoming families of all faiths and perspectives. With a stimulating core academic curriculum entwined with a spiritually enriching environment, our K-8th grade students are nurtured to grow intellectually, think critically, work collaboratively, and communicate confidently. Please visit us - a warm welcome awaits!
PUMPKIN TIME K/1 students prepare for "Pumpkin Time", making soups and muffins with their harvest from the school garden.

The SPICES of Life Gala, celebrating Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality and Stewardship held at the Atherton Hotel November 7th was a successful friend and fund raising event to benefit State College Friends School Scholarship Fund. Attendees enjoyed simple yet beautifully prepared and presented local foods. Music by Andy Tolins and Tom Jordan was an acoustic feast! The backdrop of the Atherton Hotel, and the special touches created by the SPICES decorating committee made the selection of donated goods and services look like the window displays of Tiffany’s at Rockefeller Center.
Ticket sales, sponsorships, monetary donations and silent auction proceeds for the event raised approximately $6000 for the Scholarship Fund. Thank you to all who made the SPICES of Life Gala celebration a great success. For more information contact Lori Pacchioli at lorip@scfriends.org
