Remember, before calling for service be sure you check to see if you have electrical power in the receptacle the appliance is plugged into.
Electric dryers be sure to check the fuses or circuit breakers, you must have 220 volts present. These dryers will run and tumble with 110 volts supplied but they will not heat! Gas dryers check to be sure you have gas.
Dishwashers check to be sure the water is turned on.
Washing machines check to be sure of the same. Also if the machine is full of water and wont run or drain you must remove the water by dipping or some other method before the technician arrives.
Refrigerators you should move the food to a cooler place, even if it is fixed promptly it will take several hours for the temperature to cool enough to refreeze.In most cases do not turn the machine off, be sure and ask at the time of the call.

Mr. Schafer is married with 2 children and 3 granddaughters.
Mr. Schafer also is a group facilitator and contract worker for Family Services Inc. of Blair County for 13 years. His primary responsibilities there are the facilitation of the Duluth model Men Helping Men program. A support and training program for, male, domestic abusers and men involved in volatile domestic relationships.
In his spare time, what little he has, he is the Crew Chief for the MAC TOOLS NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle team of Ron Ayers. Racing at the 14 NHRA races contested around the country.
