Mike Miller studied and fell in love with photography while serving in the United States Navy over 30 years ago. Since acquiring his studio, Portraits by Stephens, Mike has devoted his life to creating fine art photography by capturing peoples intimate spirit in each of his portraits. Mike's ability to mix traditional elegance with photojournalistic creativity has earned him dozens of top awards along with regional recognition. Mike continues to diligently study the most modern digital methods through seminars, workshops and contact with other talented professionals. Mike is an important part of Erie's hockey history, photographing all the teams since their inception into the city. He has worked with The Blades, The Erie Golden Blades, The Panthers and The Otters, also The Seawolves and The Freeze. Within the community, he has worked with the Shriner's Hospital for Children, the Cancer Center, area churches, colleges and universities and numerous business clients. He has photographed hundreds of families and weddings, high school seniors, children and business portraits.
