Rolling Acres Golf Course is a 27-hole links type course spread out over 250 acres of rolling countryside. If you want to get away from the city and into the country, this course is for you. Built on an old farm estate, Rolling Acres' original course was opened in 1964. Designedby James Harrison. In 1988, an expansion blended old holes with new.
Currently, there is a mixture of sand and grass bunkers guarding the large and gently-tilted greens. Also, water from seven lakes comes into play on several holes. The course has few trees, so golfers can recover from poor shots. The north and south nines combine for 6,728 yards from the blue tees. The west nine is 3,003 yards with water on four holes and tree-lined fairways on another four holes. With a three-course combination, Rolling Acres offers a challenge to the low and high handicapper.
Rolling Acres has a restaurant and lounge which are open from early morning to late evening. Banquet facilities and a picnic shelter are available for golf outings.
Golden Oaks is open seven days a week for daily fee golf and is a great venue to host a tournament or charity golf event. It truly is one of the very best golf courses in the tri-county area. The Rest
