All of us at James Leighty Construction, Inc. are excited to celebrate our 35th year in business as general contractors and builders of quality custom homes. Being a small company, we serve only a limited number of customers each year, which enables us to give great personalized service. We pride ourselves in the attention to detail that we put into each and every job that we do. The focus of our work includes the design and construction of new quality custom homes and all phases of residential remodeling. We are also capable of doing light commercial construction and remodeling work. We usually have several quality building parcels that have sewage permits, are surveyed and located close to Milford available for our clients and can provide a land/house package for those that need a parcel for their new home.

To help you determine the style of home that you may be considering, we have developed a comprehensive color brochure that contains our Custom Line of new homes and our affordable Homestead Series to choose from. Both of these product lines are very adaptable and customizable and the examples in our brochure are only a very small sampling of what is available. We are also able to design new homes from scratch and oftentimes end up combining house plan ideas that people bring with them to our office along with our plans in order to develop a totally unique and customized house design. Once the design has taken shape, we can perform a detailed estimate and provide you with a complete and accurate proposal with basic and a-la-carte pricing, from which to choose.
In our 35 year history, we have also completed a large amount of residential Remodeling Projects. These projects include everything from simple jobs to very large and complex whole house remodeling work. Again, our ability to do the CAD design work in-house is extremely valuable to you and enables us to fully understand the scope of the project.
Our company has always had great concern and interest for energy efficiency in our new homes and remodeling projects and we truly believe that we need to be building green for our future. The current interest in "green" construction is more than just a modern sales tool to us, but actually has been an important part of our design and construction since we started in business.
