What is Tae Kwon Do?
Tae Kwon Do is the Korean art of self-defense or unarmed combat, commonly referred to as Karate. Today, Tae Kwon Do has evolved into not only the most effective method of weaponless self-defense, but also an intricate art, exciting sport, and a distinct means of maintaining physical fitness. The purpose of training in this martial art is to develop coordination between mind and body. The methods of instruction are designed to help an individual build good character, integrity, self-respect and respect for others.
Who can learn?
Any man, woman, or child can learn martial arts and self-defense techniques. Training begins with simple motions of attack and defense, and progresses into action forms (continuous attack and defense). As coordination and strength developers, students are promoted in rank and given further advanced instructions on techniques.
What will it teach me?
Martial arts will teach you to develop and maintain physical condition and mental awareness.

Martial arts were originally designed and developed for protective reasons. This is why martial arts should never be used improperly or violently. Martial arts, requiring only a minimum of strength and physical contact, have become the favorite type of self-defense for women.

Human being are souls and have a mind as well as a body. Through proper training in the martial arts, people are able to clearly understand themselves and knowing this truth they become free who can exercise patience and use correct judgment in times of stress.

Martial arts strengthen the will and fortify, a person against obstacles, weakness, disappointment and the discouragement of life so he or she may enjoy greater health, peace and happiness.
4. Health (physical and mental)
No one was born with a strong body and soul. Like a moving machine that needs proper care and lubrication in order to function, a person should know how to develop and maintain his or her health with physical and mental conditioning.
How fast can I learn?
You will learn martial arts and self-defense techniques in your first lesson. Because the instruction is among the finest in the United States, your progress will be swift and consistent. There is no reason why a beginner cannot achieve black belt in a few years. Talented students who trained hard have earned their black belt in even less time. How often should I train?
Members are recommended to train 2 or 3 formal classes each week.
How much does it cost?
We have many payment plans and options to suit your needs and situation. Our priority is to provide you with the best martial arts instruction possible. Come in and try out. If you like us and will dedicate yourself to learn the best from us, money should not be a problem. There will be a payment plan for everyone and we will make it for you.
Special message to parents
One of the ways to show true love toward your children is to let them possess the power of self-defense and self-confidence at an early age. We highly recommend that children of ages 4 and up are at the best age to start learning the martial arts for their training of mental stability as well as physical conditioning.
