EUKANUBA PET FOOD RECALL:
Iams Eukanuba has issued a voluntary recall of all Iams Veterinary formula dry cat and dog food effective July 30, 2010 due to a possible salmonella health risk. No salmonella-related illnesses have been confirmed. If you have purchased any of these products you should stop feeding them immediately. CANINE INFLUENZA: Doylestown Veterinary Hospital recommends the new canine influenza vaccine as a part of the initial series of puppy vaccinations, and for all adult dogs that are in contact with other dogs (such as at boarding facilities, daycares, training classes, grooming shops, and dog parks). This vaccine is given as a series of two initial injections, two to four weeks apart, and then boosted annually.
