Patrick Duff Creative Media starts by identifying your specific advertising or production needs. We develop a concept and script or take your concept and implement it to perfection. With more than 10 years experience producing television advertising (TCI, AT&T Media Services & Comcast) and more than 25 years shooting and editing video (NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, FSN, CNN, ESPN, MTV, FOOD Network and more) we have the experience to produce EFFECTIVE advertising that is appropriate and cost conscious for your business.
We can create a television commercial or any type of production using existing video such as manufacturer-supplied footage i.e. running footage, stock images/video or we can shoot it ourselves. For voice over talent we use the very best in local talent and an online service Just Say Spots. We can also create custom music in any style or draw from our extensive library of licensed production music. All editing is performed on one of our two in-house Final Cut Pro Suites; with over 10 terabytes of fast, shared storage or on-site with our mobile Final Cut Pro Suite using the Apple MacBook Pro. We are also well versed in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects as well as Apple Motion and Livetype.

Patrick Duff Creative Media uses a 12 foot CamCrane, Bogen Tripods and Fluid Heads, Rail dolly, Arri and Lowel Lighting - both Tungsten and Daylight fluorescent fixtures, portable blue and green screens and Matthews C-Stands. We also have immediate access to a Fig Rig, LED Camera Lights, 40-foot crane, teleprompter and a Steadicam rig.
RED ONE, Sony HDCAM, Panasonic Varicam, Super 16mm film and 35mm film Camera Rigs are available with 75% advance production deposit and mandatory crew DP, Director, Grip, Operator/Loader, Producer.
We can scale an on location production shoot from the one man run and gun to multiple camera, multiple location shoots. We are fully insured and construction site, safety training certified.
We use a Sony XDCAM for our low light camera and the true 1080p HD image is pristine and vibrant - this camera can shoot in 24p, 30p, 60i or any of the European PAL format varieties. For compositing, we use a Panasonic DVCPRO HD camera that has a dazzling, cinematic image with 4:2:2 color space that allows for a clean and crisp key. The Panasonic can also shoot in 24p, 30p and 60i. Both the Sony XDCAM and Panasonic DVCPRO Cameras have variable frame rates and can both be under cranked for fast motion shots or over cranked for true slow motion capture. These cameras are also tapeless The Sony XDCAM EX1 uses SXS solid-state media and the Panasonic uses the well-known P2 cards. Our third HD video/still camera is a Canon EOS 7d. This camera shoots 1080 full frame 30p video and has a large 18-megapixel sensor that allows for beautiful images that have that much sought after shallow depth of field made famous by motion picture film cameras with prime lenses. In addition to this camera, we also own a Letus Extreme 35mm lens adapter with Nikon Prime set, rail system, follow focus and matte box with glass filters that can be adapted to either the Sony XDCAM or the Panasonic HVX200. Our audio package includes a Sennheiser Wireless Lavalier system, a Samson Wireless Lavalier system, Rode short shotgun, Audio Technica Long Shotgun, 2 Audio Technica Boundary Microphones, Rode Boompole and a Marantz location recorder.
For still photography, we use the Canon 7D, a Nikon D200 digital camera, a Nikon F5 film camera, and a Mamiya 6 x 4.5 format medium format film camera.
Our music and audio production package uses Apple Logic Pro, Yamaha 01v96 mixer, MOTU interfaces, a Universal Audio LA-610 mic pre, Neumann and AKG microphones, Roland Fantom G6 Keyboard, Roland Sonic Cell Module, Yamaha Piano and hundreds of plug-in instruments and effects as well as assorted guitars and basses.
