The Reformed Presbyterian Home is a non-profit, charitable institution providing nursing care and residential living to elderly persons. The Home was established in 1897 to serve the aging members of the community. In keeping with the objectives of the founders, we attempt to meet the needs of our residents in the spirit of Christian love. We are committed to caring for residents without regard to sex, race, religion, or age.

The R.P. Home has been in existence for over 100 years. During that time it has grown from an old fashioned rest home to a modern medical facility offering multiple levels of care from several levels of assisted living to skilled nursing.
All of our professional staff meets the requirements necessary for the provision of long term care. Many of our staff have been here long term which contributes to a close knit family feeling among them. You will find that everyone, not only employees who are direct caregivers, but also employees from all disciplines; environmental services, food and nutrition services, activities, volunteers and administrative personnel, know the residents by name and show a vital interest in the well being of all of them on a day to day basis.
The Reformed Presbyterian Home has a ministry to a wide variety of people from our own community on the North side of Pittsburgh to people who have lived all over the United States and other countries. It is my desire to make everyone who lives here and the families and friends who visit here, feel loved and cared for in such a way that each one will be able to say, “While I lived at the RP Home I experienced the love of God through the care that was delivered to me by the people who worked there.
I know that making the decision to move into an institutional setting is not an easy one to make. Sometimes it is necessary and if it is, then finding the best place possible is of the highest priority. There is no place like our Home. Please come and visit us and see the clean, warm, professional environment that the Reformed Presbyterian Home can offer to you or your loved one.
