A program specifically designed for the prevention and treatment of SEXUAL ABUSE

COMMUNITY SAFETY AND INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILIY are the goals of this treatment program. All interventions are in support of this guiding principal. Achievement Specialists, Inc. is a private corporation that is founded and operated by David Gentile, Licensed Psychologist. Specialization in this area has been developed over two decades involving specific focus on the prevention and treatment of SEXUAL ABUSE.
Specific populations served include adolescents and adults who struggle with issues related to sexual aggression/inappropriate behaviors to include special needs individuals, i.e. physically and mentally disabled, the Deaf community, developmentally delayed individuals as well as pre and post sentence individuals that may or may not be subject to Megan's Law registration.

Expert testimony is provided regarding Megan's Law; treatment, placement and visitation considerations. Consultation to the Court, Children and Youth Services and various treatment agencies is provided regarding safety plan and reunificationdeterminations while serving individuals in need with Dignity, Respect and Accountability.

OUTPATIENT INDIVIDUAL, GROUP AND FAMILY PSYCHOTHERAPY are provided and is adapted to specialized needs of the clients served. Whether these are mental health, drug and alcohol or disability concerns, these issues are addressed in service of the primary presenting goal of Sexual Abuse prevention and treatment. Although individuals with sexually aggressive/inappropriate behaviors are served, victims of sexual abuse are also treated.

COMPREHENSIVE RISK ASSESSMENTS are provided to various agencies to help determine treatment suitability, safety plan recommendations and placementoptions if indicated.

TRAINING AND COUNSULTAION is provided to various agencies, as well as to the public that addressa wide variety of issues to include; management of sexually aggressive/inappropriate behaviors; prevention education and socialization.

PARENTING CLASSES areprovidedby face to face sessions that are specifically designed to the age of the child(ren) and specialized needs of the parent(s).
