In the spring of 1991, a well known trucking company/breakup that was in business for over 80 years closed its doors. The closing left a void in the distribution chain in Pittsburgh, PA. Recognizing this, a small group of trucking professionals, with over 90 years of combined experience, founded Calhoun Distribution Inc. We began a distribution service specializing in delivery of time sensitive materials, such as magazines, mail and newspaper inserts.

Calhoun Distribution is committed to that goal. Employing professional drivers operating the latest model trucks and equipment, we have established an excellent service and safety record over the past 16 years. Our management is continually working to add exceptional value for our customers by using the most current information processing and internet technology available for business operations. In addition, we are dedicated to building better, more valuable and stronger long term working relationships with out customers.
