Halloween Is Coming!
Halloween is just around the corner Collegeville will be having their annual Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 27. Marchers will assemble in the parking lot behind the BP station on Main Street, with judging beginning at 6 PM. The parade begins promptly at 6:30 PM. This is a fun event hope to see everyone there.
Halloween is also a time when we need to practice some commonsense precautions for the safety of our homes and our trick-or-treaters. Prevent fires by making sure pumpkins containing candles are placed at a distance where a child's costume cannot be ignited and it won't tip over. Extinguish all candles before going to bed. Make sure your trick-or-treater carries a flashlight, and add light-reflecting materials to costumes. If you are driving, be especially careful to watch for children. And of course, be sure to inspect all your children's treats don't eat unwrapped items, and collect candy only from those you know.
