Thorncroft Equestrian Center's horseback riding programs are designed to educate equestrians of all ages and abilities in the enjoyment and care of the horse. The result of these experiences is a freer spirit developed within. The programs are also devised so that many levels of physical and mental abilities can benefit; handicapped individuals as well as able-bodied.

You are invited to explore how working with professionals and horses can improve our quality of life; the emotional, mental and physical benefits for people with anxiety, depression, relationship building, trauma and stress. You will be introduced to the practice of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to enhance the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health. The program includes exercises with horses in the arena.
This is a hands on introduction to Horses, Mental Health and Healing. Come prepared to work indoors and in the arena with horses.
Please Note: As of 9/24, the CHA Instructor's Certification Course is full, however there is still plenty of room for auditors.
Thorncroft will be hosting our first CHA Instructor's Certification Course with clinicians Mitzi Summers and Valerie McCloskey. We are offering the All Discipline Standard Course. For further information about CHA, check out their web site at www.cha-ahse.org
