Thank you for your interest in Miss Dicey's School of Dance. With your help, I would like the opportunity to increase your child's awareness of discipline, motor skills, poise, self-confidence, and flexibility. Our professional staff has the most up-to-date training and promises to encourage each student to learn challenging dance technique while progressing according to their own capabilities.

I have studied not only with some of our countries best dancers and choreographers but with the top instructors and studio owners. They assisted me in the development of the dance curriculum we offer at Miss Dicey's School of Dance. Our dance curriculum provides each instructor with the tools needed to ensure each class is taught with the fluency and consistency needed to help every child develop the skills needed to advance to the next level with ease. It also ensures each instructor is teaching from the same material designed as building blocks to advance students properly. This way, when an instructor needs to be absent from a class, you can be sure the substitute instructor has knowledge of the material being taught in class and it does not interfere with the progress being made in the classes.

I have obtained my certification in dance instruction from Dance Educators of America. They have been leading the dance educating industry all over the world for over 75 years. The entire staff at Miss Dicey's School of Dance have been level certified through Dance Educators of America.

Our dance facility is located on Main Street in the heart of Mercersburg. We have a brand new 9,000 square foot facility containing two dance rooms with floating dance floors. This is designed to not only lower dancer fatigue, but reduce the occurences of injuries to dancer's ankles, knees and hips. Our studios are full of the most up-to-date equipment to assist our instructors in training and ensure the safety of our staff and students alike.
