Programs for Career Advancement
Make a difference in your career - and your life - with a degree of distinction from Duquesne University. It's more than a learning experience; it's exposure to new ideas and skills that can be readily applied.
We provide a number of educational opportunities for adults seeking to enhance their impact and advancement potential. Students from more than 30 states and several countries are earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees through programs that are available online and on-campus. We are pleased to offer programs and services for military service members and veterans.
Noncredit programs include an American Bar Association approved Paralegal Institute that has produced nearly 1,800 paralegals, a professional coaching certificate program, and an executive certificate in financial planning. More than 4,200 people have attended programs through our Nonprofit Leadership Institute.

U.S. News & World Report’s 2011 ranking of America’s Best Colleges placed Duquesne University the 120th top school in the U.S. of more than 1,400 colleges and is among the top 12 Catholic universities in the nation.
The Princeton Review 2011 edition of its annual college guide The Best 373 Colleges recommends Duquesne as one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education, as well as Best in the Northeast.
