Business Continuity Planners Association, Proudly Serving Minneapolis & St. Paul Minnesota & surrounding communities.

Welcome to the Business Continuity Planners Association

Since 1994, the Business Continuity Planners Association (BCPA), based in Minneapolis-St. Paul, has supported business professionals with a non-profit, mutual benefit association for those participating in business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning, disaster preparedness planning, or a related professional vocation.

The mission of BCPA is to provide a professional and educational environment for the exchange of experience, dissemination of information, professional growth, and for added value of mutual interest to the membership.

With further questions or concerns, please contact us and you will be contacted by a BCPA representative.

Members will be assessed annual dues, payable upon receipt of invoice from BCPA. Members will be informed of the uses of these dues at least annually. Dues may be pro-rated on a semi-annual basis to bring a new member into the annual billing cycle.

At the annual meeting on December 9, we will be voting on a By-Laws update. Please see a copy of the proposed By-Laws attached here. If you have questions, please contact one of the BCPA board members. Thank you.

The Business Continuity Planners Association (BCPA) would like to pay tribute to Mike Abbott for his years of dedication and commitment to the business continuity profession and the BCPA. Mike was a retired 3M business continuity planner who stayed active in the BCPA as an advisor to the BCPA board of directors. Mike had a proactive approach to life with his motto, How can I make a difference? He was leading the BCPA by-laws revision, when his health failed, and he passed away
May 23, 2010 . BCPA members and board of directors greatly appreciated Mikes contributions that did make a difference. We will truly miss our friend.
