The Department of Homeland Security urging Windows users to apply a patch to protect themselves from possible worm attacks. This move was the first time the department had instructed computer users to apply a windows security patch. iTunes v7.0.2 may work on typical Windows Vista machines but Apple recommends that customers wait to upgrade. The next release of iTunes, which should be released in the next several weeks, will be compatible with Windows Vista. However some users have reported a workaround for the iTunes problem. You can get iTunes to work on Vista if you right click on the iTunes.exe program, select Properties, click on the Compatibility tab, and check "Run This Program As An Administrator."
