Before I opened this shop, I traveled to craft shows and had private shows.
Thanks for visiting. My name is Mac McCrory and I've been working with sterling silver and turquoise, coral, black onyx, malachite and many other gemstones for the last 50-some years. Yes, I've been at it a long time; a really old silversmith who does custom work and repairs of sterling silver jewelry. I use the best material available especially for necklaces and chokers which are strung on Foxtail, a woven brass cable. If you desire a custom made piece, stop in my shop in Zelienople or email me a sketch - mac@thesilversmithshop.com. A small portion of my jewelry is posted on the following pages but I have a large inventory of rings, earrings, bracelets and watch bracelets, belt buckles, pendants and slides. Not limited to silver jewelry, I also have many other items including Native American Pottery, custom made leather goods, dreamcatchers and mandelas and kachina dolls and many one-of-a-kiind items. I make most of the silver jewelry but I also have many Zuni and Navajo pieces and a lot of inlaid (inlay) opal jewelry. I use the best materials available; I make my jewelry to last a lifetime. I also carry The Mountain T-Shirts and Main Line Denim shirts. Check out just three of my custom pieces at the bottom of the page.
Store Greeters on Duty - My store greeters are Duchess (born 5/00), a beautiful Keeshond and Smidgee (born 8/06), a Keeshond who is just too cute. Duchess was found on the streets of an Ohio city in January, 2007; fostered by Dawna and adopted in March, 2007. Duchess was adopted from Keeshond Rescue after Ben, my previous store greeter, passed away in January, 2007. Smidgee was adopted and then returned to the breeder after 2 1/2 yrs. We adopted her in November, 2008. She is just too cute. Both girls love to greet all the visitors to the Shop. Pictures at the bottom.
In May of 2004, Van Scoy Diamond Mine merged with Bash Jewelers. Together, the two locally-owned & operated businesses have been providing the Susquehanna Valley with quality diamonds & fine jewelry.
