Datta Yoga Center, USA (DYCUSA) is the American branch of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Mysore India. DYCUSA was established by His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji in 1986 to foster unity, peace, and spiritual/religious fulfillment of humanity through ancient teachings.
In the United States and all over the world, Sri Swamiji has uplifted, enlightened, and blessed thousands of individuals. His Holiness leads devotees to understand the higher meaning of this life. He teaches that this body and soul should be used to grow spiritually through good thoughts, meditation, puja (worship), Nama Sankeertana (singing and repetition of the name of the Lord), and seva (service to the Sadguru or God).
Devotees in the United States are always eager to have Sri Swamiji's darshan here on U.S. soil. However, even when Sri Swamiji is not physically present on this land, He is always with all of us in thought and spirit. We follow His teachings by singing His bhajans, holding satsangs, celebrating important religious festivals and helping those in need.

When Sri Swamiji does grace us with his presence in the United States, He performs daily pujas and weekly homas, gives speeches, and sometimes holds concerts for healing and meditation. Sri Swamiji occasionally graces individuals with the opportunity to speak with Him personally.
