NCATA is proud to announce that we have increased our hours of service to the Pittsburgh Area. We have included 2 (two) new daily departures from New Castle (10:30 am and 3:00 pm). The New Castle Area Transit Authority (NCATA) welcomes you to our home page.
You will find at this site information that will help you in using our services. You will find that public transportation is offered six days a week throughout Lawrence County allowing you to reach communities, recreational activities and businesses with ease. You will also find that daily weekday service is offered to and from Pittsburgh.
The NCATA believes that all citizens should have access to good public transportation therefore all buses are fully accessible and complementary paratransit service is available. There are tips on using the bus that will make your trip more enjoyable and, for the first time users, more convenient. There is a section on fares where you will find that adult fares in the New Castle area are still only 75 cents. The highest one-way fare is $3.00 and that is to Pittsburgh.
