Fringe Benefit Services Incorporated had its beginning in 1970 and was formerly known as Wallace & Associates. Its founder John "Jack" Wallace, still heads the company in its 39th year of operation.

Our agency specializes in group and individual life, health, and disability insurance as well as annuities, final expense plans and retirement plans. We are a company that emphasizes service.

Our business covers not only northwestern Pennsylvania but also our neighboring counties in eastern Ohio. We represent more than 60 well known insurance companies.

Medical: We will assist you in finding a basic insurance program that will best suit your companies budget and schedule of benefits. In today's changing insurance market, a knowledgeable consultant is a necessity in order to provide the best and most cost-effective insurance benefit for your company.In addition to your basic benefit package, there are many options that can enhance the level of benefit substantially. We utilize a staff trained in claim filing procedures and familiar with the intricacies of the insurance process.this enables us to correct problems quickly and and facilitate a prompt response time. We also administer HRA plans.

COBRA: We will handle COBRA notification for employers who employ 20 or more employees. It is important to closely monitor your COBRA procedures to ensure that not only are you offering continued coverage to all of your employees legally entitled to it, but that you are also terminating that coverage when the eligibility period expires. Failure to comply with the COBRA regulations, even if not intentional, can result in tax penalties being charged to the employer.

Dental: We offer a complete self funded dental insurance program that is tailored to your employees' needs and that increases the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of your premium dollar. Employees and their dependents can select the dental professional of their choice. However, we have developed a network of participating providers that have agreed to predetermined, discounted fee for services based on usual, customary, and reasonable charge. This lower fee enables your employees to utilize their maximum dental allowance to a fuller extent while saving both themselves and the business money.

Vision: Vision care benefits are administered the same way as the dental program. Benefits can be tailored to existing plans or designed to increase or reduce benefits.

Medical and Dependent Care Reimbursement: Flexible spending programs have been a successful service many employees have come to utilize to reduce their out-of-pocket spending. We can administer your medical and dependent care reimbursement programs. Those employees who elect to have pre-tax payroll deductions to reimburse them for non-covered medical expenses can submit their claims directly to our office for processing. This is a great way to enhance an existing benefit package. Your employees can pay their out-of--pocket medical and dependent care bills while increasing their spendable income.
