The Malvern Institute has been treating and educating individuals and their loved ones suffering from the disease of addiction and psychiatric disorders since 1948. The Institute is housed in a post-civil war farmhouse located on several acres in scenic Chester County, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles from downtown Philadelphia and ten miles west of the King of Prussia Mall.
Our clients come from all walks of life. Nurses, attorneys, doctors, pharmacists, businessmen, students and laborers have sought our help. All clients must be 18 years or older.
Malvern Institute has 80 beds licensed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Drug and Alcohol and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Clients' length of stay in the inpatient program is generally 30 days. We provide a full continuum of care including long term care, intensive outpatient and outpatient services.
