"Christian is lucky to have this program in his life."- John Dorrian
Would you like your child to improve confidence, learn respect for others and develop self discipline and focus...all while getting exercise, learning to deal with bullies and honing valuable skills that can be used in any sport?
My name is David Medina. I own and operate Medina Kenpo Karate in Springfield, Pa. I have some important life-changing information to share with you!
For over 25 years, I have been using extremely powerful teaching techniques to help change the lives of hundreds of students. These techniques have been given to me by very talented and distinguished professors and mentors. I have been blessed to have been trained by these professors at the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I have spent hours in personal discussions and in the classroom dissecting the methods by which these professors take normal people and turn them into High Level Executives, Movers and Shakers on Wall Street, and Owners of very successful companies. These methods turned ordinary students into very successful role models and pillars of society including the likes of Warren Buffet, The Trump Family and Justice William Brennan of the Supreme Court of the United States.
I also have the privilege of being certified and trained by several World Champion Martial Artists. I am currently certified by Brian Thomas, Mark Lawler and Joe Palanzo of the Worldwide Kenpo Karate Association. I am also certified by Frank Trejo, who is an 18-time World Champion and Full Contact Champion. Mr. Trejo is also a former bodyguard to David Lee Roth of Van Halen. I am also certified by Paul Vunak of Progressive Fighting Systems in California. The self-defense techniques that these talented instructors have given me have been taught to members of the Navy Seals, FBI, DEA and over 50 Law Enforcement organizations around the country. I have also received awards from numerous organizations. I was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the 2005 American Kenpo Instructor of the Year. I was given the 2004 Torch Award from the Worldwide Kenpo Karate Association. I was also given the Honor Award from Pi Delta Epsilon, Business Fraternity of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Using this potent combination of superior teaching methods and powerful martial arts information, I have seen many miracles happen before my eyes.
I have seen kids that were extremely shy to the point where they could not even look me straight in the eyes who opened up and became very confident. Kids that were extremely uncoordinated or unfocused became agile and very disciplined. I even had a student who dropped his weekly therapy sessions after only a couple of months of training. His mother was extremely grateful. These advanced teaching technologies are also working on children with issues such as ADD, bullying issues and other challenges.
These technologies also work on adults no matter what age or physical condition. Some of these adults have become instructors and the students under their care have flourished.
I am honored to have shared my gifts with many outstanding members of our community. I have personally taught many Law Enforcement and Military Personnel, given seminars at local universities including Widener, West Chester and University of Pennsylvania, held personal safety seminars for several women's groups from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware County Memorial Hospital and graduates of the Police Academy and I am the only Karate Instructor that has ever been invited to give a seminar for children recovering from illness at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Nothing gave me more joy than making kids smile that were hooked up to monitors and I.V.s.
As a member of the Ivy League alumni community I have written several powerful recommendations for many of our students and will continue to do so in the future. Success outside of our school is emphasized and encouraged. Students are rewarded for academic achievement and good behavior at home.
In my school the student population is over HALF FEMALE and I am currently training students of all ages including students that are as young as 4 up to adults in their mid 50s and 60s.
