Children from the ages of 2 10 years may participate because the College offers preschool, after-school and summer camp programs. Located on a beautiful and nicely shaded one acre property, Teddy Bear College creates a warm, loving, and nurturing environment for your child. The well kept grounds are equipped with swings, slides and a brand new picnic area perfect for eating outside. Call, stop by, or take a tour and youll quickly experience the dedication of their staff. Our site director has her teaching degree and several members of our staff attend local colleges as they pursue early childhood education degrees. Everyone is trained in CPR, First Aid and Fire Safety. Weve assembled a wonderful team to care for your child. Our primary focus is your childs safety. We have 13 security cameras that record all of your childs activity as well as an electronic check-in and out security system with a private code that parents and designated family members use upon entering and exiting the building with their child.

What types of stimulating activities will Teddy Bear College offer your child?
Teddy Bear College offers fun in all shapes and sizes! Education begins at 9 a.m. with circle time and the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance. Circle time continues with children learning their ABC, numbers, colors, shapes, days of the week, months of the year, planets, as well as Spanish lessons! Hands-on education consists of science experiments, cooking classes, arts and crafts and worksheets. The childrens worksheets go into a journal for the parents to see how their child is progressing throughout the year. Your child would not want to miss the field trips such as trips to Styers Orchard Pumpkin Patch and a visit to see Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny which are the Colleges favorites. All the days activities certainly make for hungry little participants! Teddy Bear College gladly supplies kid tested and mother approved snacks and lunches that are balanced and nutritious. Once nap time rolls around, the sleepy children can rest on child size cots. Relaxing music helps them calm down and drift off into sweet dreams. Our main goal at Teddy Bear College is to prepare your child for kindergarten! Many of our children are being accepted to private schools by passing the entrance test. Your childs early childhood education is celebrated with a cap and gown ceremony when he or she is ready to continue to Elementary school.
