From Pastor Tim's sermon on May 9, 2010:
"There’s reason to rejoice... salvation is all of the Lord [Jon. 2:9], from the
Lord, from start to finish. So, yes, you’re called upon to believe. Yes,
you must believe. But even that faith is a gift, isn’t it? For by grace you
have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it’s the gift
of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. [Eph. 2:7-8] And the
reason we embrace the sovereignty of God in salvation from start to
finish, is that the Bible teaches it. It’s a source of great joy to us. You
know why? Because you’re going to go out there today and you’re
going to mess up. And you know what the enemy of your soul would
say? “How can you be a Christian and act like that?” But God is not
going to take out His eraser and erase your name from the book of
life. Or, trying to think of a more up to date analogy: He doesn’t push
the delete button. He’s not going to highlight your name and push the
delete button in the book of life; because you haven’t written your
name there, He has written your name there. And, my friends, that’s
reason to rejoice. Because salvation is all of grace. This doesn’t give
us license to sin; no, we shouldn’t sin the more that grace may
abound [Rom. 6:1], but rather it should give us a motivation and a desire
in our hearts to be pleasing to Him on the basis of what He has done
for us. And so, you’ve received His grace, that’s unchangeable, that’s

After years of praying, saving, and planning, the Centennial Building Project is underway.
The new building addition plan includes a new entry way, more classrooms, an elevator to
enable everyone to access the basement level, and new nurseries. We are about
$200,000 away from our goal of reaching $1,100,000. We are thankful to God for you -- for
your continued support of this project with your prayers and financial gifts. Please continue
giving, that He may be glorified in all things!
