Together the West Chester Veterinary Medical Center and the West Chester Animal Emergency Center provide 24 hour veterinary care for your pet. Our new addition houses our West Chester Veterinary Rehabilitation Specialty Center.
The West Chester Veterinary Medical Center is a full service veterinary hospital providing a broad spectrum of small animal veterinary care, scheduled by appointment.
The centers are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) which sets exacting standards of veterinary practice for its members. AAHA-accredited hospitals must comply with 260 individual standards in these areas:
Complete diagnostic capabilities
Complete pharmaceutical facilities
Proper anesthetic procedures
Modern surgical procedures and facilities
Microchip Your Pet
We highly recommend microchipping (AVID chip) your pet as an additional security measure. Ask us about implanting AVID chip - it is a quick procedure. AVID's national registry, the PETtrac database, keeps a record of your pet's ID. This helps return your pet to you as soon as possible. For further information call our office or 800-336-AVID (2843).
