Mac McIlrath is the owner of McIlrath Insurance Agency since 1974, an Independent Insurance Agency located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. The McIlrath Insurance Agency was founded in 1945 by Macs father, Robert McIlrath.
The agency has continually provided excellent service in and around the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. Being a long and dedicated member of the community, McIlrath Insurance Agents in Pittsburgh continues to help individuals and businesses plan and protect their future.

Mac McIlrath, FIC, CLU, CIC
Mac is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Business Administration.
A frequent speaker, Mac has lectured at Point Park University, the University of Pittsburgh, the Small Business Adminsitration SCORE Program, Allegheny Community College, and The independent Insurance Agents of Pittsburgh.
Mac is active in many trade organizations. He has been the Chairman of Pittsburgh's I-Day. He also was the President of the Insurance Club of Pittsburgh, and was the President of The Independent Insurance Agents of Pittsburgh.
Mac has received the "Insurance Person of the Year" award from The Insurance Club of Pittsburgh, and the Business Person of the Year award by the Brentwood-Baldwin-Whitehall Chamber of Commerce.
Mac also owns the Pittsburgh Institute of Insurance, which provides Continuing Education and P/C Licensing Courses in Pennsylvania.
Mac and his two sons, Scott and Bradley, enjoy Skiing and playing Golf.
