The ambitious Mandarin Garden in Willow Grove is a grand and welcoming space, artfully decorated with hand-painted Chinese fans and graceful Chinese murals. The plush, high-backed booths with white tablecloths are elegant and comfortable – just like the Mandarin itself.
There’s a full bar, too. Mandarin Garden offers sublime mixed drinks and the finest Chinese beers. The wine list is carefully selected to complement the classic Chinese and pan-Asian dishes, prepared with the freshest ingredients and no MSG.
At Mandarin, you’ll find classic Chinese dishes alongside such imaginative creations as grilled salmon with black bean sauce, and wild-peppered chicken with shiitake mushrooms. Mandarin Garden is one of the few suburban restaurants offering Dim Sum (Mon-Sat, 11-3pm). Favorites such as steamed shrimp dumplings and crispy curry pastries are offered on small plates so you can taste many special dishes.
