Although many changes have taken place at Scranton Printing over the years, the texture, fabric and values of integrity have been passed from father to son for four generations. In the past 100 years, the company has grown, increasing personnel and facilities, updating equipment and expanding in the commercial printing services industry.
Sharp, accurate color reproduction begins with our Computer to Plate (Creo Trendstetter 800 II) pre-press department which maintains the latest hardware and software to generate the best in color reproduction. Our electronic and conventional assembly is accompanied by our Hewlett Packard Digital proofing system.
Whatever your job specification: Light or heavy run; long or short; 1, 2- or 4-color work, or if you need a 5th and 6th color we can handle it. Additional services also include Staccato / Stochastic printing. Whether your job calls for a run of one thousand or one hundred thousand sheets, our presses can handle it! Our pressroom features a full compliment of presses - from our Halm Super Jet Press and Heidelberg presses to our computerized 15,000 sheets per hour 5 and 6 color Komori's. We are a full line commercial printer of Catalogs, Brochures, Blister Board, Card Printing, etc. Our diversity generally translates into cost-savings to our clients!
To put your job in its final form may require a number of different operations, such as: Trimming, Folding, Perforating and Scoring [on or off the press], Die Cutting, Drilling, Binding [Spiral, Saddle, Perfect, GBC and Thermal], and Shrink-Wrapping. We do it the way you want it done. We can also Aqueous Coat anything you need. Our out-of-town customers may have their jobs shipped in a number of ways, as needs dictate.
