Bring your creative child! Expand your ART Interests! Welcome to The Children's Gallery, center for creative development. We are the local home for the national Young Rembrandts art program, the national Musicare Preschool Music Program and Studio A , Art programs for teens and adults. At the Children's Gallery we are dedicated to working with all ages to support your cognitive development through education in the arts. Research proves that the creative arts, more than any other subject, helps acquire skills and confidence in ways which will help you to succeed in your education and other life activities. A solid foundation in the arts at The Children's Gallery, is a great way to supplement your child's regular preschool program, build upon middle or high school art education, or practice your own interests. Art exploration for teens and adults offers the chance to develop and refine existing or emerging skills, relax and get your right brain in action! The best part? You will have fun doing what everyone loves to do....

When children are exposed to art as a consistent part of long term education, they do better in math, reading and have significant improvements in general cognitive abilities and socialization. Why? More than 80% of information entering a young brain comes in via the eyes and ears. Children can call up mental pictures more readily than random words. That means that young learners respond positively to any opportunity to develop their creative thinking . Art in all its forms, helps a child produce visual and audio images that mere words can not activate. A preschool child is open to all types of learning more than at any time in his or her life.
