Joyce Brabner Lecture!
Joyce Brabner, Harvey Pekar's widow and co -collaborator on his best-selling series, American Splendor, will be lecturing at 7:30 pm Wednesday, October 13th at the Santee Chapel at 555 W. James Street in Lancaster. This event is part of the Fall Lecture Series of the Lancaster Literary Guild. I will have the honor of introducing her.

We have a large selection of graphic novels, role-playing games, trading cards, collectible card games, and miniatures. The Comic Store first opened in 1977 (the same year Star Wars was released). From the beginning we have been proud to bring all the new comic books to the readers in Lancaster County and the surrounding regions. Over the years the store has grown from a small 2 day-a-week operation to the large 7 days-a-week business that is now one of the oldest comic specialty stores in America. This website is the next step in the evolution of The Comic Store and we welcome your feedback and comments.
