Do you feel you are the only one with lymphedema? Well, would you believe you are not alone.
In an effort to inform and educate the public on the subject of Lymphedema and to give support to people who suffer form this disease, we have formed a support group here at Lemont Physical Therapy, Inc. and are affiliated with the D. W. Trainer Foundation Life and Potential Support Group.
A little about the D. W. Trainer Foundation Life and Potential Support Group. The foundation was founded by Jody Clark, owner of Compression Management Services out of Pittsburgh, in honor of her brother who was killed in the Vietnam war. We are the State College Chapter for this Foundation.
We want to take this opportunity to invite you to our next support group meeting. We meet the second Thursday of every month at the Centre County United Way from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Centre County United Way is located at 2790 West College Avenue, State College, PA
Come on out and bring a friend or family member with you. We look forward to meeting you and seeing you at our next meeting.
