If you are looking for a church in this community, we want you to know that you are more than welcome to visit us. Our service times are published here including any special activities. If you are not familiar with the rural Sinking Spring area, you should contact us for directionsour campus is beautiful, but not easy to find the first time. In fact, if you have any questions, please feel free to email us, or give me a call at: 610-334-9866. I would be happy to talk with you.

Most of you know that I am a Phillies fan and its exciting to be in the playoffs. One of the most amazing things about this year is the energy at the stadium when the Phillies play at home. Even over the TV, you can almost feel the intensity of atmosphere as the fans have packed the house for every single game this year! The crowd becomes the 10th man on the field and I really believe that helps them win.
Our revival can be a lot like that. Bud will do a faithful job preaching Gods Word, but there is nothing like a crowd to build enthusiasm and to encourage both Bud and those who come to hear him. I would encourage you to be a part of it during the weekend on the 15th-17th.
We are now in the midst of the interviews for Associate Minister. We believe the person we hire will make an impact in our fellowship and through us to our community. He cant do this alone, but his contribution should help us all take a big step into the future. I know there will be challenges, but I am looking forward to it.
We are hoping the committee will be ready to make a recommendation to the congregationperhaps as early as the end of October. It all depends on how the interviews go. I enjoyed the To Save a Family sermon series and I hope you were blessed by it, too. I am not going to be in a series this month, as I would just
like to preach from some passages that
have been on my mind.
On a personal note, I need to visit my Dad and encourage my brother, as he is bearing the daily burden of care for all Dads affairs and is seeing to his health and to the arrangements at the nursing home. I expect to be gone from October 25-28.
