ACTS is a Non-Denominational Christian Church located in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
The church began worship services 20 years ago, in 1990, with a goal of serving people in the region who were looking for a solid, bible-based Christian Church that was alive with passion for God.
9 years ago, we moved into the Bedford Plaza Shopping Center to expand our sanctuary and be better equipped for the various ministries of the church, such as the youth, music, dance, and drama ministries.
Today, ACTS is people of all ages andbackgrounds who come together to reachup,build up and reach out.
We reach up to God with our praise and worship.
We build up each otherwith teaching, prayer and fellowship.
We reach out to others to share God's love.
The main worship service is at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The service begins with a few announcements and then prayer, before starting worship.
We sing mainly current contemporary Christian worship songs and occasionally some of the great old hymns of our faith. Our worship team is made up of some great musicians and singers. Often, worship is followed by prayer and then an offering. Children and teens are invited to attend classes for their own age groups while adults remain in the sanctuary for the sermon. We have great teachers for all ages, including nursery. The service usually ends between 11:15 and 11:30 a.m.
