"This is our opportunity to give something back directly in the community where we work. It benefits the families directly and gives us great satisfaction in the knowledge that we can contribute and assists young people who have work hard throughout their 12 years of education. It is also important to note that this scholarship is open to all senior students in this community and they should not hesitate to apply. Today, the selection committee members of this fund are comprised of past recipients. This fund continues to grow and is an extraordinary vehicle for the Manayunk community. We are extremely proud of these young people and their families and we urge all high school students to keep this funding opportunity in mind as they begin their high school career," stated Luana Neducsin.
This fund was established in 1995. Over 40 families have benefited from the scholarship.
