The primary focus of my practice is the treatment of arthritis and sports medicine. My patients are cared for using the most current operative and non-operative techniques.

I am a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip resurfacing, minimally-invasive (MIS) primary and revision total joint replacement and advanced arthroscopic surgery. Within my practice, I care for patients who have had complications related to their joint replacement such as loosening, dislocation or infection as well as the high-caliber athlete who is in need of arthroscopic shoulder or knee reconstruction.

A portion of my practice is devoted to general orthopaedics such as the care of sprains, simple fractures and other musculoskeletal ailments.

Recent advances by the researchers at medical device maker Smith & Nephew have opened an exciting new chapter in high performance knee replacement surgery. the company has announced the introduction of VERILAST Technology. It is the first knee replacement technology that uses advanced, low-friction surfaces for both sides of the knee joint and the world's first knee replacement material tested to simulate 30 years of wear performance. That's more than twice the length of knee replacements made with traditional materials.
