Bucks County oil painter, Robert J. Seufert, renders his landscapes by combining his own special unique technique of using a painting knife with a high degree of detail and precision. While retaining the beauty and charm of the Impressionist painters of the New Hope School (19th century to mid-20th century), his work reflects many of the time honored traditions of painting together with his very original style. Primarily a watercolorist, Alice Olson Seufert renders her art with particular attention to detail. Using a layering technique in her watercolors to build up color and form, her paintings are extremely realistic revealing the essence of each subject.
Alice also does commissioned work in pastels as illustrated in the above painting. She specializes in ballerinas. Contact Alice if you are interested in having a commissioned pastel portrait of your child.
