R.E.G.A.L. Care stands for Reaching Excellence through Genuine And Loving Care. It was coined by a member of the Rest Haven - York team to inspire and remind all Rest Haven employees of the kind of care and service we want to give to our Residents and Families. Since then R.E.G.A.L. Care has become interchangeable with who Rest Haven York is and what we do.

Welcome. Rest Haven York is a family-owned accredited Nursing and Rehabilitation center with a capacity for 159 residents serving York County Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Rest Haven offers skilled nursing care, social services, physical and speech therapies, occupational therapy and rehab services.
Respect for the Individual
At Rest Haven York we know that each person is a unique individual. When someone comes to Rest Haven York, either for a short-term therapy stay, or for ongoing nursing care and assistance with daily activities, they are greeted by warm and professional staff members who are genuinely interested in getting to know the person not the patient.
Consistent staffing in each neighborhood guarantees that every resident gets to know his or her caregivers. The caregivers, in turn, learn about the lives and preferences of each resident, as well as many little aspects of a residents personality. This knowledge, and the understanding that goes with it, works to make care individualized and personal, bringing contentment, comfort, and happiness to each resident living in our community.

Every member of the Rest Haven York team, from nurses to housekeepers, therapists to receptionists, gets to know the individuals residing at Rest Haven York. Mandatory training for all staff is conducted year-round so that every team member is equipped with the tools to best address the unique needs of each resident.
