What is Hyperbaric Oxygen?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is breathing 100% oxygen while pressurized greater than one atmosphere (one atmosphere is the pressure at sea level). HBOT results in substantial increase of tissue oxygenation.
What are the benefits of HBOT?
Hyperoxygenation - HBO provides oxygen to compromised tissue areas with marginal blood flow.
Angiogensis + Neovascularization - HBO promotes the growth of new blood vessels. These vessels bring nutrition and oxygen to injured tissue, helping the body heal.
Hyper Ox Inc. operates and staffs multiperson hyperbaric oxygen chambers. These chambers are state of the art. We treat several people simultaneously. The unit is filled with compressed air, and each person has their own oxygen mask which supplies 100% oxygen. A physician is in constant attendance while the unit is in operation, and an attendant is inside the chamber at all times.
