In 1980 as Herrholtz Excavating was created with one truck and one backhoe. In 1995 renamed to Ligonier Construction Company, for the past 29 years David S. Herrholtz has owned and operated his company in Western Pennsylvania. Ligonier Construction Company has over 60 employees, and focuses primarily on municipal work such as the construction of water and sewer lines.

We have built our reputation by providing quality workmanship and reliability. In addition to the municipal work, we are quite competent with site development work, paving, and demolition work. Our contracts range from small jobs for a private homeowner to large jobs for municipalities.

Ligonier Construction Company is based in Laughlintown, in the Ligonier Valley of Western Pennsylvania. Our primary area of interest is the Western Pennsylvania area. We are more than willing to provide quotes and bids in other areas. Our level of expertise is not limited to Western Pennsylvania
