Chapple Brothers was started by Charles and Richard Chapple in 1920. Since then, it has gone through various stages of development, all of which have led to continued financial success and a reputation within the community.
In 1966, George and William, the sons of Charles, split Chapple Brothers into two companies: Chapple Brothers, the roofing company owned by George; and Chapple, Inc., a sheet metal company owned by William. Both continued to persevere.
In 1992, George sold his company to his son David and foreman Robert, and the two embarked on a successful partnership for over a decade. Then, in 2003, David acquired the rest of the company and made Chapple Brothers a sole propietorship once again. It continues to be a thriving business to this day.
Chapple Brothers offers service in the tri-county area of Cambria, Somerset, and Bedford counties. Our seasonal services include both commercial and residential roofing, spouting, and we are one of the last companies around that still repair and install slate roofing.
We do it right the first time and leave it cleaner than we found it. We also offer a two-year workmanship warranty on all our new roofing materials, repairs excluded.
Chapple Brothers owes its good name and reputation to the hard work put into the business during its 85-year history.
