Hi Bead Buddies,
Yes this is already the month of November and Thanksgiving. Yikes! Where does time (and money!) go? Are we all dieting in preparation for the big eating fest on the 25th? And saving money for the big shopping fest on the following day? Just so we are included in your plans, we will be staying open later on Black Friday until 7 pm. Sorry, no midnight bead shopping!
We have some great classes lined up for November and we still have spots in our last 2 October classes this month. Check your schedule and make plans to join us! Please call to reserve your place since our email has been somewhat unreliable lately and we would hate to disappoint anyone.
And a final reminder: our trunk show from Nirvana Beads will be leaving on Wednesday, October 27. We'll be packing up and inventorying that day so we suggest you come in for any final browsing and/or purchaseing this weekend or Monday. (Monday is double stamp day!)
Our Christmas beads will be out very soon so you can get started on your holiday gifts. But we promise not to turn on the Christmas lights until AFTER Thanksgiving!
Crystal Wiggles
Curvesand swirls in crystal and fire polish! This is another Deborah Roberti pattern that Lynn has brought to life in blues and browns for a beautiful fall bracelet! Stop in and see the real thing because a photo doesn't do it justice. Call or stop by for a supply list because you will surely want to make this in other colors for your friends & family.
These are gorgeous exotic-looking circular earrings, beaded around a sparkling rivoli. This is a matching piece of the Shaitana set - join us to learn the Shaitana Necklace on November 20!

The Cab-athon Begins! Making a Round Bezelfor a Cabochon
Saturday, November 13, 12-4
Here's a dramatic but simple round cabochon setting where you can use any type of 6mm stone. It makes a great pendant or earrings that you can put on chain or leather. This is a soldering class and participants should have some experience with a torch. Please obtain a copy of the supply/tool list prior to class.
Sunday, November 14, 12:30 - 3:30
Here's your chance to scratch that itch!! Make this great domed and patternedpendant and earring set in brass and copper (way less expensive than silver!) and learn the technique of etching on metal.
Please be sure to pick up or have us email you the supply/tool list.
Saturday, November 20, 10:30-1:30
We've taught you to make the Shaitana Bracelet so now this month we bring you the matching necklace and earrings! Using pearls and seed beads this beautiful draping necklace will be the hit of your holiday parties.
My husband's family always referred to any little pieces of anything as "schnitzels" so here is our way of helping you use up those little pieces of scrap metal - fuse them into a jewelry work of art! This is a good class to obtain torch experience. Please have the supply/tool list prior to class.
We still have space left in this Saturday's silversmithing class. This is a great class for beginning soldering or a chance to practice your flame control. And you can take home a necklace or earrings of dangly pussywillow branches!
These delicate diamond shaped earrings can help you use up some of those loose beads that you have rolling around and they're beautiful to boot! Spaces still open!
Just a reminder that we will be closed on Thursday, November 25 for Thanksgiving Day. We hope youand your friends and family have a wonderful holiday! And don't forget to VOTE on November 2!
