At Roxbury, our mission is to deliver the highest quality services to individuals and their families who are suffering directly or indirectly from the ramifications associated with chemical dependency. Our formula for successful treatment includes our innovative services, unique facility, and dedicated professional staff.
Roxbury Treatment Center is located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, on 26 serene acres of farmland. The facility is conveniently located with access from Interstate 81 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The building itself was originally constructed as a private home and retains much of that cozy charm and character today, with its limestone and rustic dark wood architectural accents. The facility features a large patient lounge with a fireplace and large outdoor patio areas for relaxation, socialization, and quiet reflection.
Roxbury offers both inpatient and outpatient services for individuals struggling with chemical dependency and/or mental health issues. Our medical team is composed of board certified psychiatrists who oversee the treatment of all inpatient clients with their daily visits to the program. Our nurses are on site 24 hours a day providing close medical monitoring and the highest quality of care to our clients. Our multidisciplinary team of professional clinicians work together to provide 24 hour coverage seven days per week to ensure superior care and support for each member of the Roxbury community.
All meals are prepared with great care in our kitchen by Roxbury’s dietary team. Generously portioned hot entrees, fresh vegetables, and baked deserts are elements of the daily fare in the dining room. Alternate meal choices are always available and special dietary needs will gladly be accommodated.
