Squirrel Hill Psychological Services is a division of Jewish Family & Children's Service of Pittsburgh. We are a licensed mental health facility and approved service provider for most insurance and managed care plans. We exist to help individuals, couples, families, organizations and the community make positive changes through evaluation, consultation, education and psychotherapy.

We offer long- and short-term counseling services to children, teens, adults and seniors, including:

• Assessment and treatment for a wide range of issues, including anxiety and depression, stress, self-image/self-esteem, school adjustment, adolescent risky behavior, anger management, family conflict, marital and relationship challenges, parenting issues, aging concerns, grief and loss, domestic violence and more
• Support groups for bereavement, caregivers, adoptive parents, job seekers, and those affected by multiple sclerosis
• Critical needs support for those with multiple areas of concern

We also provide services for the community, including:

• Staff development, crisis counseling and educational workshops for organizations
• Consultation and training for preschool/daycare personnel for addressing children's behavioral health needs
• Family life education programs focusing on a variety of topics including disability awareness, caring for aging parents and domestic violence
