Welcome to MKA Karate! With decades of experience, our instructors have developed a martial arts training program to meet your goals. Our focus is fitness, practical self-defense, and self-development. At MKA Karate we use the latest teaching and training techniques to keep classes interesting, informative, and exciting. Our goal is to keep our students "smiling, sweating, and learning!"
We are the only Delaware Valley karate school to augment classical Ryukyu Kempo Karate with the elements of Modern Arnis, Small-Circle Jujitsu, Wei Kun Do, and Tang Soo Do. A solid foundation in Okinawan Karate lays the groundwork for exploration of several other approaches to self-defense to provide a thorough, well-rounded martial arts education.
As a specialist in Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine, MKA Karate's chief instructor enhances the martial arts experience by incorporating knowledge from his medical degree into a comprehensive and healthful education. As a practicing acupuncturist, he is a national authority on the use of pressure points for self-defense.
