Dan-Ning Lewis brings to her practice over 20 years of experience as a medical/health professional. After graduating from medical school in China, she spent several years as a staff physician at hospitals in Shanghai and Liu Zhou City. Her specialties were pediatrics, general and internal medicine. In medical school, Dan-Ning studied both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has also completed extended training in Acupuncture at the Shanghai Research Institute of Acupuncture, the China Beijing International Acupuncture Academy, has received a Master of Science in Acupuncture and a certification in Chinese Herbology from the Tri-State College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in New York City.
Along with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, Dan-Ning uses Tuina (Chinese massage therapy), Acupressure, Moxibustion and other related therapies in her practice. Any of these therapies may be used in combination to treat her patients in a holistic manner. Non-needle techniques are offered, especially for children. Dan-Ning has a warm and caring manner, and her number one goal is to improve the state of health of all her patients. She will work in cooperation with your family physician on your course of treatment.
