There have been several electric kayaks on the market in the past few years, but they all seem like science experiments to me, retrofit parts on a regular hull until now. Here is the brand new OCEAN KAYAK TORQUE Electric drive fishing kayak. Ocean kayak has developed a new hull that integrates the electric drive for minimum draft and ultimate performance. Ocean has used the best electrical components in the industry with waterproof automatic breaker and a Minn Kota Salt Water Drive with the Weedless Wedge prop. They have stated an average speed of around 5 to 5.5 mph which will get you to the fishing spots quicker. The Torque also comes with a stern Skeg plug when you wish to paddle instead of motor. Don't like lifting your kayaks, canoes or bikes to the top of your SUV or car? Get a canoe/kayak galvinized trailer that will accommodate 4 kayaks or 1 canoe and 2 kayaks, As well as a 2 kayaks and 2 bikes. Each Trailer has 61 inch load bars with a dolly wheel and 4.80 x 12 tires and rims. Made to last out of American steel. This year has brought a few updates to the "yak Shack"! Here are a few photos of the new roof, 3 new windows, new porch/railings, wall mount Kayak rack plus 2 new signs.
