Enjoy a fun filled day meeting the trainers at South Mountain Dog Training Center. Watch an agility and obedience demonstration and learn where a good foundation starts!!
10:00 – Agility Demo: Bring your dog and see what the exciting sport of agility is all about. We will introduce your dog to the tunnel, tire jump, dog walk & other equipment.
11:00 – Obedience Demo: Our trainers will demonstrate with their dogs how much fun it is to train your dog. Not to mention the working bond you develop with your canine partner.

1:00 - Drawing for door prizes: Additional questions and answer hour.

DOG OBEDIENCE AND EDUCATION CLASSES For any dog over 8 weeks of age AND the people who love them!!

When you first become a dog owner, it is very exciting and fun. Remember, though, your dog needs you to be a responsible owner for its lifetime. It's true - your dog is your best friend when it comes to play, but you have to be your dog's best friend when it comes time to provide care and training.

Owning a dog is a lifetime commitment – not just a passing fad! You can look forward to many years of enjoyment and pleasure from your dog. The acquisition of the dog is the easy part of dog ownership – the day in and day out responsibility is the hard part. Without proper upbringing and care, the dog becomes a nuisance to both you and your neighbor. A dog that is not properly trained can be a very difficult dog to live with. Teaching your dog to sit, stay, lie down, come when called, and heel are the five basic commands that every dog should know. Ninety percent of the dogs that are euthanized or sent to the pound each year are the result of behavior problems and lack of training. It’s never too late to train your dog to be a joy to live with.

All South Mountain Dog Training Center Group Classes:

Are "people training" classes for any breed or age of dog (if we can train you, you can train your dog).

Teach you how to train your dog to be a well-mannered companion and neighbor.

Are limited to 15 students and dogs per class with enough instructors and apprentices so everyone is assured the individual attention you need and deserve.

Are held in a first-class heated training facility in Emmaus.

Are filled on a first-come, first-served PAID basis.

South Mountain Dog Training Center also offers:

AGILITY FOUNDATION AND AGILITY BEGINNER CLASS
New classes begin every 6 weeks. Learn the fundamentals with emphasis on FUN !!! **Do you want to build a strong working relationship with your dog ??

**Do you want to learn ways to get your dog to focus his attention on you ??

This class are held at South Mountain Dog Training Center.
This is a 6-week course on Friday night from 6:30 to 7:30 and
Saturday mornings from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

****NEW AS OF June 24, 2008 - BREED HANDLING CLASSES - New classes begin every 8 weeks at South Mountain Dog Training Center. This is an 8 week course on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The price of this class is $75.

Serving the Greater Lehigh Valley Area, Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton as well as Berks , Bucks, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Northampton counties.
