Attorney Shean helps clients faced with the difficult decision of declaring Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I have had the opportunity to represent well over 100 individuals in a variety of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, both before the trustee and the Bankruptcy Judge. I am also experienced in the interaction between Family Court and Bankruptcy Court. While many divorces granted by State Courts provide that neither party may discharge any economic obligations to the other in Bankruptcy Court, this issue is ultimately resolved by the Bankruptcy Court, not by the State Court.
